Emery and Autumn's mother, Summer Day-Stewart, died from her injuries earlier in the day, while 7-year-old Ezra Stewart died in the fire Tuesday. One dead in shooting at homeless camp near Oakland Coliseum OAKLAND — A 27-year-old man was shot to death at a homeless camp near the Oakland Coliseum on Sunday, police said.Authorities did not identify the man immediately.Officers were called to the encampment in the 8100 block of Baldwin Street about 9 a.m. and found the man shot more than one time, police said. An ambulance took him to a hospital, but emergency personnel there pronounced him dead about 9:45 a.m.Police said they don’t know if the man was living at the camp or just visiting. Police said they don’t have a motive. They did not announce any arrests.The homicide is the 21st of 2023 investigated by Oakland police.
